Iranian animation 'Inflated Head' co-directed by Amirpouya Afzalipour and Ruhollah Saadatmand has been screened at the 2017 Lanterna Magica Film Festival in Brazil.
Produced by Iran's Documentary & Experimental Film Center, the Iranian film was screened at the Brazilian festival’s first edition.
The 6-minute animation film follows the story of a character clearing out his head every night in a balloon and sends it to the sky.
Lanterna Magica Film Festival is an animation-only film festival that intends to promote and disseminate the world’s animation market.
Going beyond the exhibitions, the aim of the festival is to promote debates and meetings that contribute directly to the formation and valorization of the animation market, projecting it internationally.
The festival’s first edition was held June 13 to 18, 2017 in Brazil.
